Patrick Barnes CEA AREI (REIV) – DIRECTOR

With over 30 years experience and knowledge of the CBD and metropolitan Melbourne, Patrick is an expert in sales, leasing and asset management, as well as being a licensed estate agent, auctioneer and associate of the Real Estate Institute.

Patrick actively represents the interests of a wide variety of clients, from publicly listed companies to high net worth individuals and families.

A well known and highly respected professional within the industry, Patrick has also undertaken the meaningful pursuit of developing and advocating industry best practices through past positions and involvement with industry institutes - most notably the Commercial & Industrial Branch of the REIV.

Patrick is the Managing Director of Allard & Shelton.

Joseph Walton CEA (REIV) – DIRECTOR

Joseph is a passionate property professional with vast knowledge and experience in all sectors of the property market, encompassing the sale and leasing of commercial, retail and industrial properties, in addition to residential sales.

Joseph has worked extensively with government departments, publicly-listed entities, charitable foundations and high-net-worth private individuals.

As such, Joseph's professional depth & ability, in addition to his attention to probity matters, ensures that he consistently provides our clients with an exemplary standard of service.

Having commenced at Allard & Shelton in 2003 (as a Sales Executive) Joseph was appointed as a Director of the business in 2008.

In the interest of professional development and ongoing improvement of professional standards, Joseph devotes time to industry bodies such as the REIV – where he currently holds the position of Chairman of the Commercial & Industrial branch.

Richard Kennett – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Richard Kennett was appointed CEO in 2010 after a long association with Allard & Shelton. He has a wealth of experience in property, finance and business management.

Richard has been involved in a number of businesses at both an operational and board level.

Richard currently serves as a board member of the Kooyong Tennis Club – host of the international tennis tournament the AAMI Kooyong Classic. His past Directorships include Network Ten Limited and Elders Rural Finance New Zealand.

Richard has a Bachelor in Economics, Masters of Business Administration and is an Agent’s Representative.

Peter Lane – CEA (REIV) AAPI

With over 25 years experience, comprising a strong focus on asset management, leasing and selling, particularly within the Melbourne CBD and inner city, Peter has established a loyal client base unmatched within the industry.

Peter joined Allard & Shelton Pty Ltd as an Associate in July 1992. He was admitted as an Associate of the Australian Institute of Valuers and Land Economists in March 1994 and has specialised skills in retail and commercial properties.

Mark Seater – SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER

Mark is a Licensed Estate Agent with over 20 years real estate experience, which has spanned all sectors of the property market.

Over the course of Mark's professional journey, his essential focus has been on managing a wide array of retail and commercial properties ranging from stand alone retail shops to 20,000sqm+ office buildings for a diverse selection of clients - being high net worth individuals to listed property trusts and high profile corporate entities.

In addition to playing an active role as property manager, Mark has held senior director positions for Large Inner City and CBD Estate Agency practices, overseeing their respective property management departments.

Additionally, Mark is an accredited REIV trainer who has trained many successful property managers currently practicing in metro Melbourne today.

Luke Hunter – PROPERTY MANAGER

Luke joins the Allard & Shelton team with over 9 years of success in the property industry.

As a fully Licensed Estate Agent, Luke has spent the last 7 years in commercial property management - and it is here where his passion lies.

Prior to joining Allard & Shelton, Luke spent 5 years working for an International agency practice, in the Northern Territory. During this period, Luke was recognised (by his peers) as Property Manager of the Year for 4 consecutive years at the Real Estate Institute Awards for Excellence.

Luke's continued success demonstrates his knowledge and ability to proactively manage his client's assets, from small industrial tenancies to retail shops and to multi level commercial towers.

Luke is well placed to provide sound assistance and advice to anyone seeking a strong professional alliance in the management of their properties.

Ben Stanley – SALES AND LEASING EXECUTIVE

Having worked in property since 2006, Ben has been exposed to many facets of the industry including residential and commercial leasing and sales as well the facilitation of development planning and implementation.

After completing Bachelor degrees in Business (Economics) and Urban Development (Property Economics), Ben began his professional career with Allard & Shelton in 2011.

With a passion for the industry Ben is driven by his client's satisfaction and strives to deliver exceptional results beyond expectation. With a commitment to perfection and integrity, Ben mirrors the Allard and Shelton brand.

Adam Bull – PROPERTY MANAGER

Adam started his real estate career in residential management in 2002, and over time, his role grew to incorporate the management of over 200 properties.

With the aim of expanding his knowledge and experience in property management, Adam decided to transition over to commercial property management in 2009, and is learning the commercial trade with alacrity.

Highly regarded by our Directors, Adam is rapidly on his way to becoming one of the ‘young guns’ in the industry.

Alison Lohse - SALES & LEASING ADMINISTRATOR

Ally Lohse began her professional career in real estate in 2003, after completing a Bachelor of Business at LaTrobe University.

A fully licensed agent since 2005, Ally brings over 7 years of real estate experience to the Allard & Shelton team.

Ally’s expertise has covered a diverse range of property sectors, including residential sales, large residential land subdivisions, commercial, and retail in metropolitan and regional centres.

Ally is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented property professional who has quickly established herself as a key member of the Allard & Shelton team.

Working along side Joseph Walton in the sales department, Ally prides herself on building strong, successful relationships with clients and works hard to achieve successful outcomes.

In addition, the above personnel and our company have the wonderful benefit of drawing on Mr Shelton’s 43 years’ of knowledge and experience in all aspects of commercial property.
